Multiobjective Optimization System of Extrusion Process Parameters for Targeted Microtubes Based on RSM and NSGA-II

An optimization system of extrusion process parameters was designed to rapidly extrude a microtube with target diameter and wall thickness for forming medical balloons personalized size characteristics. Firstly, the double convected pom-pom (DCPP) model selected numerical simulation tube process, different parameter combinations their corresponding results were extracted based on orthogonal experiments. Secondly, nonlinear functional relationships between established response surface (RSM). Finally, nondominated sorting genetic algorithm II (NSGA-II) (RSM) mixed find optimal extrusion. The experiment results, taking three microtubes characteristics (1, 0.15), 0.2), (1.5, 0.2) as examples, show that average error actual predicted values is 6.53%, where 7.3%, 5.77%, maximum value 9%, minimum only 1.3%.
